Hedge Bindweed (Calystegia sepium) 2016-7-4 Newark, DE

aka Hedge Morning Glory, Larger Bindweed, Hedge False Bindweed
according to plants.usda.gov, introduced, not native

To tell this from Field Bindweed (Convolvulus arvensis) look on the stem holding the flower. About an inch below the flower Field Bindweed has a small pair of bracts (leaves).

Most of the sources I checked show Hedge Bindweed as white, but they also note it comes in pink. An added bonus is what I believe is the Banded Longhorn Beetle (Typocerus velutinus) standing guard on its food source while I was taking the photograph.
