Nut and Acorn Weevil (Curculio)

It was, I thought, "sniffing", using it's snout in a side to side fashion. Karen thought she saw a spider web attached to the rostrum and thought that's what it was trying to get off. Here is a picture that looks like it has it's snout inside what might be a teeny-tiny fungus (maybe a miniscule Bird's Nest or Fairy Cup fungus, or the fruiting body of a tiny lichen).
