Saddleback Caterpillar Moth - Hodges#4700 (Acharia stimulea)

9/4/10 at Deb's in VA
Learned a lot from this comic-looking critter, 1) it delivers a sting I won't forget, and 2) Benadryl packs a wallop that'll knock me out for a day. Deb and I both got the business end of these caterpillars. Luckily Deb's pain tolerance is better than mine. Her's wore of faster. For people who are built like am, it's very, VERY, painful and the pain will last for hours. I don't know how long it would have lasted without the Benadryl that Deb gave me, but when I woke up, the pain was gone.
