2013-5-13 WWW7 - Bombay Hook
One of us moved, the other one worked overtime, and the WWW7 weekend was forgotten. We took a one-day trip to Bombay Hook, and thanks to Debbie reminding us about WWW7, we retroactively decided to name this our WWW7. (Bird list under first picture)

What are they? Maybe a species of Baccharis. Common names: Groundsel tree, Salt marsh elder, Sea myrtle (see description)

The leaves alternate

The full-grown leaf margin is smooth near the base with teeth near the tip.

The young leaves are reversed. They're toothed/lobed on the bottom and are smooth at the tip.
