(BG) Rabid Wolf Spider (Rabidosa rabida) female 2015-8-26 Newark, DE - note the larger abdomen of female

This one was just under an inch, I'm guessing, so maybe 2cm at most.
Found in the same area as the male from a few days ago. She, however,
wasn't about to sit still and, unlike the male, made a dash for parts
unknown. Thanks to Edna who pointed it out and kept an eye on it
while I got the camera! Makes me leery of sitting on the stool in the grass now.
I keep imagining getting overrun with spiderlings.
