Kevin - and more about the station wagon
(Update 9/4/16: I happened across this picture and attempted to restore the colors. The results aren't much better.)
The dark green 1966 Chevy wagon:
The bed in back was wide enough to hold a crapload of 4x8 (drywall, plywood, you name it). The lanes of the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge were barely wide enough for that wagon. It always made for an interesting bridge crossing. When we were no longer using it, Peter and a friend came and took out the engine with some kind of a contraption. Later, the tires came off, it was put on blocks, and I used it as a spare "garden implement and other odds and ends holder" until we got rid of it. Ah, memories! :o)
The "Big Wheel", missing the big wheel, went after that. The tractor lasted a while longer and also went. It took a while longer but eventually that little tow-headed farmer grew up and left, too. Ah, memories.
