Eastern Gray Squirrel (Sciurus carolinensis) - 2016-2-8 Jeandell, DE

Squirrels dig shallow holes in the ground to store and retrieve food. They like mulch but can make an eyesore of a lawn. Since we only have S. carolinensis in these parts, even though I didn't see the squirrel dig the actual holes, I think it's safe to attribute them to sp. :o)

2017-10-26 - Squash amok! - Thanks to the warmest October *ever*, there will be a harvest of delectable squash before first frost. Vine loaded with blossoms.
