Sweet Gum - This corky growth is completely normal from the 2nd year on. What makes this an unusual specimen is that it's uncommon for it to become so profound.

Norway Spruce - I'm coining a new term, "Summer Ice" for the resin.

Redbud - Two of them, one established and one starter in a cage

Crabapple - grown for flowers, fruit edible but distasteful, used mainly for making jelly.

Peach - one by the garden and several new in back

Apple Tree - one old established and several new out back

White Pine

Black Pine - one out front and one in back - Pines with 2 or 3 needles in a pack are generally called Black Pines.

Blue Atlas Cedar - two in back

Dawn Redwood - A conifer, but deciduous, with the added bonus of a hatched Chinese Praying Mantis egg case.
