(DONE) SPRING 2012 March
Here are a few pictures from the Spring update visit on 3/31/12. D&M spent the weekend weeding and mulching all of their flower beds.

Spring bulbs - Hyacinths, Tulips, and a variety of Daffodils. Crocuses had finished blooming by the time these pictures were taken, but Grape Hyacinth isn't finished yet.

While I was taking pictures, David and Melissa worked all day Saturday weeding and mulching.

Weeds can be pretty, but we can admire them someplace else besides the flowerbeds. Here are Grape Hyacinth and Clover, Old Man in the Spring, Purple Deadnettle, and Ground Ivy.

Here is a Basilica Spider egg sac on the Mugho Pine in front of me. Spiders are beneficial in a garden, eating many undesirables.

Mom got into her PJs early and stayed in. The top inset shows David adding wood, and at the bottom Melissa and David are standing together near the fire.

Someone spotted a Ring-necked Snake in a flower bed on Sunday just before leaving.
