Common chickweed (Stellaria media) 2012-3-11 PL DE

-What's difficult to see in this picture is that Common Chickweed has hairs on only one side of the stem. There is just a hint of that in the lower left inset.
-There are many species of Chickweed. They grow from a basal rosette. S. media has variable numbers of stames.
