KAREN'S GALLERY (est. 2005)

(BGR) Harvestman (Leiobunum aldrichi) fem.

2014-6-28 Susquehanna SP, near Havre de Grace, MD - Leiobunum has the longest legs
(update 7/7/15: ID by Jeffrey W. Shultz at bg)
(see description at:)

White patches on only the second pair of legs.
The white areas were "loud" enough to see
easily with the naked eye.

Found on the trail near the Rock Run Grist Mill
next to the Susquehanna River. "Next to"
meaning a cliff drop-off down to the water.

Once it spotted me, I had to back off. It
kept using those legs like feelers and I
didn't want it crawling onto the camera.
