(BGR) Fourteen-spotted Lady Beetle (Propylea quatuordecimpunctata)
9/12/11 PL - Named for its 14 rectangular black spots. It was, at most, 1/4" long.
As it was almost dark, ran in for a flashlight. Glad I did.
