genus AGELENOPSIS on Yew at loc. 1 Newark, DE
- update: thought these might be genus Barronopsis Funnelweavers because of a similar pattern on the cephalothorax of one of the spiders there (in Barronopsis at BugGuide), not so - they were ID'd as Agelenopsis by Lynette Schimming on BugGuide. It's always good to ask!
- Still, an interesting pattern I haven't been able to find anywhere else on BugGuide yet.
- Actually, it's good to know they're Agelenopsis, because I'd given up trying to take pictures of them because of their habit of disappearing. Now that I know the ones on bushes are likely to be more amenable to having their pictures taken, I'll keep trying. The fact that they're high off the ground sure makes a difference as to whether or not I'll even try! :o)

the other four pictures were frassed because they weren't helpful enough for an ID.
