according to Carnegie pages, difficult to tell apart females and may be one species
males can be differentiated by examination of genitalia
I arrived at ID by comparing wing venation (next picture).

update 2017-4-15: Along with another connected picture, John Carr moved this from Crane Flies (Tipulomorpha) to Large Crane Flies (Tipulidae). This is a tough one for me and I'm grateful for any help.
