(BG) Imperial Moth caterpillar - Hodges#7704 (Eacles imperialis)

I thought this was Eacles imperialis ssp. imperialis.
It was named as E. imperialis by an expert on BugGuide.

2014-9-8 by David D&M, MD - found on Redbud
I don't know how to name this beast.
This is the right name and Hodges# for the Imperial Moth:
Imperial Moth - Hodges#7704 (Eacles imperialis)
I don't know if the subspecies, E. imperialis imperialis gets the same number or not.
I would think not, but I'm not sure.
I asked at BugGuide but haven't received an answer yet.
