Aphrodite or Great Spangled Fritillary?

If Aphrodite then (Speyeria aphrodite)
Native Plant Garden, Hawk Mountain, PA (Sep. 9, 2006)
Found in a wide variety of habitats.
Research indicates that a black border is *often* present on forewing.
With the exception of the black border missing on this specimen, all
other markings appear identical to the aphrodite fritillary.
