TURKEY TAIL (Trametes versicolor)
It's likely that not every picture in this album is a true Turkey Tail. We're fine with that - for now. :o)

Turkey Tail 9/17/06 - Thundergust Lake, Parvin SP, NJ - One of the things that makes a Turkey Tail a true Turkey Tail is that it has pores, like in this picture. Another marker is that it's fuzzy.

Turkey Tail 9/9/06 Hawk Mountain, PA. - Found this after the walk with Lee. Sometimes there's a mix of smoother and hairier zones.
