Dog Vomit Slime Mold (Fuligo septica)

-Originally thought it was a ball laying in the bushes, then saw a branch growing through it. As it turns out, the branch wasn't growing through the fungus, the fungus was growing around the stem. It appeared perfectly round when first seen, but soon lost its shape.
