Osprey

Osprey Heading north on route 9 about 5 or 10 minutes from the Reedy Point Bridge we spied this guy. We pulled over and for about 15-20 minutes we watched him repeatedly fetch sticks from the field to build a nest on this pole. Unfortunately the rounded nature of the base upon which he was trying to build frustrated his efforts, much to our amusement. We don't know when he started, or how long he kept it up after we left . . .
