The dark spot near center where the grass and gravel meet is an Indigo Bunting. We observed 8 males taking dust baths in the road with 4 females to the right and left in the trees/bushes. More (see description) On the way back we stopped at the same spot and watched 16-18 Indigo Buntings, some males in the road (until we got too close) and some on either side of the road. Among that number of birds, we were able to identify about 8 females. I don't know what the attraction was but they busied themselves flying back and forth across the road.
