We begin our walk around the lake at the spillway.

It's a great view of Thundergust and brings back so many fond memories. Our hearts beat a little faster. We look down into the spillway for turtles but it's too early (8:00am). We had better luck on our second trip around after lunch. It was warmer and we found fish and mud/musk turtles at the bottom of the "waterfall".
