Common Heal-all (Prunella vulgaris) 2016-7-18 Newark, DE

Having IDed this a couple of days ago for the first time, I was surprised to find this in the lawn, and not just in one place but every few feet. This one is blooming at about 2" tall. Compare the size to the spurge leaves above the blossoms. I count 8 flower heads of different sizes in this small space pictured here.
