Rusty Blackbird (Euphagus carolinus) 2016-2-12 Newark, DE

The Rusties continue.
Saw 2 male 1 fem in Oak out front at 10 a.m.
At 11:45 saw about 20 birds in trees by ditch nearer the road. Something flushed them - probably me.
At 12:45 saw a few more with Starlings mixed in.
Around 1:45 got a photo of flock of +-50 birds, mainly Starlings, with Rusties mixed in, and the flock flew off toward ditch. Didn't bother going outside but saw that the flock seemed to have separated behind the house. The Rusties were off to parts unknown/unseen but the Starlings stayed behind. They rested in the Oak and took turns taking baths in the ditch.
