Dad and Kevin. Dad's old 1966 Chevy Station Wagon was being used for storing garden tools. A few years later the wheels were put up on blocks. (see description) Years later the car got junked and I tore down the garage. I started in Jan and ended in March one year around the mid-80's. My tools were a ladder, claw hammer and crowbar. First I stripped the wiring, then gutted the inside. Next, off came the roof. Then, stripped the wood planks off the walls and trundled them by use of wheelbarrow over to our neighbor's, Anna Pennell. Nothing was left but the skeleton. Dusted off my hands, pulled up the 72 Impala behind it and attached steel cable to bumper and up high on the frame of the 20'x20' building. Started the engine and slowly took up the slack in the cable. Crossed my fingers that the bumper would hold and eased down on the gas. Wanted to see what it looked like for a building to go down and kept my eyes on rear-view mirror. It was disappointing actually. I was expecting creaking and groaning, splintering of wood, and generally some chaos. Not so, the building folded neatly to the ground with a small "thump" and a bit of dust. I expected a bit more of a show. The rest of the building also went to Anna Pennell's via the wheelbarrow. We used to joke she had a new garage behind her barn.

You, UR, and I were on our way to Wildwood. UR was driving this car, I was in the middle back seat, and we were on the highway. For some reason - probably due to excitement - I thought it'd be fun to play peek-a-boo with him, so I covered his eyes and yelled, "Peek-A-Boo"! Needless to say, he did not want to play that game right then! I think I was 4 or 5 at the time. :)
