Dad and Kevin tilling. Don't know if I said elsewhere, but the veg. garden was over 200' wide and the rows were 50' long, add the piece on the right and you have 1/4 acre in veg. and flowers. (see description) When we first started the garden Dad rented a tiller. Nearly brought him to his knees breaking the ground the first time. I did some looking around and we wound up getting the 11 hp "Horse" from Troy-Bilt. Dad continued the tradition of breaking the ground the first time of the planting season, but it was really Mom's baby. I loved that tiller and how easy it was to maneuver and what a good job it did. It made keeping up with the garden a breeze. I couldn't have managed a quarter of an acre without it.
