Weinberg sculpture

"Steven I. Weinberg (American, b. 1954) Weinberg is best known for the cube-shaped sculptures that he made from 1983 to 1994. Starting with geometric forms, his sculptures grew larger, incorporating achitectonic elements and interior veiling that suggests hills, clouds, and water. These blocks of colorless lead glass contain structural mirages; the objects, features, and terrains that appear solid are actually voids inside or on the bottom of the cast glass cube."
