Last day in Ireland. We finished the Ring of Kerry with a visit to King Puck in Killorglin and then drove back to Dublin. From there, back home.

There are various versions of the history of King Puck. One version is a goat ran down from the mountains to warn of an impending attack, allowing the tribe in Killorglin to prevail.

The Cathedral Church of St. Brigid, in Kildare. Built in 1223 on the site of the original pagan shrine to the goddess Brigid, and restored in 19th century.
