KAREN'S GALLERY (est. 2005)

The most visited tourist attraction in Kentucky.

The face of the clock measures 34 feet across. The minute hand is 20 feet long and the hour hand is 15 feet long. Both weigh about 500 pounds. In season, the clock face is planted with more than 10,000 flowers, and the planter that holds them weighs 91 tons. Every sixty seconds, the minute hand moves 1.5 feet, and the hour hand moves proportionately. The clock is suspended above a pool of water. In the first three years following the clock's dedication, $6,000 in coins was collected from the pool.
