(DONE) Christmas Breakfast 2010
Strange People gathered for Christmas breakfast. Preparation of the traditional breakfast began at 8 a.m. Eggs Benedict were interrupted by a non-traditional grease fire on the back burner. Since Kevin (who usually poaches the eggs) had to work :o( , Melissa (who is now a Stutzman) stepped up and split the muffins and ran the toaster. That left David and Karen to handle the sauce, eggs, and Canadian bacon prep. In time the eggs were devoured and presents bestowed and opened. By noon all had left and Kevin arrived around 4. He had Christmas dinner with Mom, enjoyed several helpings of her liberally spiked egg nog, opened his presents, and relaxed before heading home again.

Early in the morning Karen knocked on Mom's door and said the tree was decorated and the presents could be put under it. :o)

Tired of seeing dishcloths and towels sacrificed to the fire, Melissa suggested baking soda to outen it. Killing the fire didn't put out the sparkle in our eyes though. :o)

Mom says, "Dang! If one of those blue Snuggies will make *me* look like I've lost 60 pounds, then I want one, too."

Mom got some green things she badly wanted. She's happy.

Everyone else left about noon. Kevin came later to keep Mom company for dinner and doesn't need to wait between gifts. He gets to open them all at once. :o)
