(DONE) Christmas Eve Day 12/24/11
Strange People gathered for a Christmas Eve dinner in MD. D & M, K & M, and K & M, attended. Several changes at the D&M household, both inside and out: A new AT utility vehicle, new bird feeder, new curing shed, and a new wood rack with a new wood stove to go with it.

Spring-flowering bulbs are up because of the mild Fall we've had. Sunflower seeds fill the feeders and, appropriately, the Christmas Fern is still green.

It looks like the Japanese Maple had an accident a while ago.

New curing shed for newly downed trees, built recently one weekend with Kevin's help.

Camellia out back still to bloom and Winter Arum filled out nicely. Nandina berries are glowing and ready for snacking by feathered friends; also Skimmia and Pieris.

Bird feeder. The globes are from Aunt Barbara, the pole is home-made.

The new wood stove heats the whole house. There's also a rack, just completed, for holding the wood.

The living room is full of Christmas cheer.

Best photo out of the bunch. Everyone has their eyes open and tongues in their mouth! Too bad David happened to get caught in mid-word.

As we left to go home we got a hand-filled and hand-decorated cookie jar which contents were made the next day. :o)
