(GGGG) Georg Ernst BÄRNREUTHER (1798-1851) and Barbara SCHAMEL (1805-1877) (see description) Happened to find this picture hanging on my living room wall. It's a print of a painting by Emmanuel Spitzer in 1837 called "Sei wieder gut." The time and subject comes so close to the time these two were married that I couldn't stop myself from using it to represent Georg Ernst and Barbara. :o)

    More info from lineage in Oma's handwriting:
    Barbara Schamel died 9/7/1871
    Johannes died 12/19/1894, married in 1865
    Oma's notes said that Georg and Barbara may have had other children.
