Boat person (see description) Our crossing took, I think, 7 days. I got seasick quickly. I vividly remember wanting a quick death and stayed like that, in my bunk, for three days. No Dramamine. Getting around a big ship like that was scary for a nine-year old, but I managed to make up for lost time. Shuffleboard was a lot fun. Dinners made my jaw drop. Such a huge room, so many fine items on the fine menu, and so many fine people all dressed up like it was Sunday and time to go to church.
