Kevin of the half corn. (see description)

I puzzled over this picture for a while, but seeing the hills, that must have been the year I tried potatoes. I grew them just one year. Storage was the problem. I'd hoped the cellar would do, but even without heat, it was just too warm. I decided to just keep buying 50 lb. bags of potatoes. They used to cost $3 or $3.50 when we moved in. By the time we moved out they were up to $8 or $9 and I was complaining about that. (grin)
