KAREN'S GALLERY (est. 2005)

Wildwood 1960's - 227 N. 22nd St., Wildwood, NJ

Wildwood was open 3 months, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Aunt Gretel and Uncle Harry would move down a week before and open the place up. They'd also spend a week after Labor Day closing the place. In later years, after Uncle Harry died, Aunt Gretel would invite a few select friends and family after the season was over. Everyone knew without being told they would help with closing. I was always included in the list. ;) --K

Hey, Doug, I don't know if you have any other pictures of Har-Gret, but I thought it was appropriate to copy over this image of the place your mother considered her second home. I think you all know how much she loved her time here.

When I look at this full screen, I'm right back there. Karen and I visited around 2007. It's sad. The place is being badly run down by the owners. Better to remember it this way.
