1995 Christmas card - Matthew is 2
Peter says: Matthew was 2. This was a self portrait. I do not know how
Matthew smiled and clapped for the camera. There was nobody behind the
camera. You can see the back of the chair at the bottom of the picture. I
had a stack of books on the chair to raise the camera to the proper level.
Behind Cathy I squeezed the old air-ball to activate the shutter, boy has
technology changed since then!
Our patience was wearing a bit thin because the stress we were under in
getting a picture done in time for the cards to go out. You may notice my
smile was a little forced, not as relaxed. Same with Cathy's :) But it
looked like Matthew had a blast! Maybe it was the light flashing that he
enjoyed.

I agree about Matthew's expression. He looks like the happiest baby in all the world! Thanks to you both for going to the trouble of doing this yearly for the family. I know sometimes you wanted to stop, so I'm doubly appreciative. :o)
