There was some discussion about whether this bird was Lesser or Greater. I thought Lesser and Debbie, because she saw the bird, went by eye color and voted for Greater.

    You put a winkie there, but in all seriousness, yes, that's what helps you learn.
    Karen and I were at Bombay Hook last Monday and we had a long
    discussion about two possible American Golden Plovers we saw.
    We don't know what else they could have been, but we still called them
    "possible". I know that the next time we run into Am Golden Plovers
    we'll be just a little bit better prepared because of the discussion we had
    that day.
