1964 - Tante Lina, me, Aunt Elisabeth on the East River Drive, Philly.

Aunt Elisabeth thought it would be nice to take Tante Lina to the East River Drive (along the Wissahickon) for a long walk to see the statues. Along the way we met a young soldier. For some reason the aunts wanted to take a picture of me and a total stranger together.

Nut and Acorn Weevil (Curculio) - A turning fork (geniculate) antennae. Was I ever surprised to see such a thing! . . . and the antennae grow out of the rostrum (snout)! :o)
