1957 - Walter, Margaret, Karolina Mother's Day. (see description) There was no official Mother's Day in Germany in those days. So when Brigitte from the USA, arranged to have pink carnations and fern delivered to mother, it caused quite a stir. We were so proud of mother and Brigitte that day! And mother? She didn't stop smiling for days. :o) Is it my imagination, or do we look like we all have the same nose in that picture? :O) At any rate, the year is 1956 or 1957.
