Karen surprised Mom with a mystery birding trip. This was part of Mother's Day gift giving and was a wonderful surprise as we haven't been here in a decade - it's true, tempus fugit. It was a wonderfully birdy day. Too bad we had camera issues and couldn't do the day justice. To add insult to injury, I have temporarily (I hope) misplaced the bird list. The best part of the whole trip was finding Mugwort. (It helps to find what you're looking for if you have an idea of what that thing looks like to begin with.) :o)
